We exist to serve and worship our King. While we are all still on the journey, we find our place, our purpose, and our happiness in Christ. We believe that God accepts all.
We believe that people were created to live life with others. To love, laugh, cry and serve with others is the beautiful expression of who we are as people. Living Vine is a place for people of all walks of life to find their place.
As a church community, we believe it is our role to participate in restoration of all things. This begins with the City of Napa.
We believe in one True God who reveals Himself as Father, as Son, and as Holy Spirit. We believe that Jesus was God in the flesh, and was at the same time completely God and completely human.
We believe that God, through a wonderful act of self-expression, created humankind to exist in relationship with Him. Since their early days, mankind has chosen to reject this relationship and is, therefore, in need of God’s forgiveness. We believe that we can receive God’s forgiveness and restoration through faith in Jesus. This requires that we admit our fault, turn from our self-centered ways, accept the forgiveness God offers in Christ, and live a life in accordance with biblical principles and teachings.
We believe in the plenary inspiration of scripture. That it is inerrant in all things concerning our salvation.
We believe that Jesus will return to earth someday, and that each person will give an account of their life and actions to God, but until then, we are partnering in the restoration, healing, and reconciliation of all creation to God.
We believe that Baptism is a public sign of the work God is doing within us. We believe that Communion is a beautiful way through which God reminds us of the love He has shown us through Christ.
